We strive to use the freshest ingredients for all our snacks and dog food using all locally sourced meats and fresh vegetables.

Is raw organ meat snacks safe for my pet to eat?

The short answer is it's not only safe - it's the most dense nutrition available for your dog or cat!

We follow a very strict protocol to prevent any parasites and inactivate bacteria.   Although you should follow safe food prep practices if you choose to reconstitute raw organ meat snacks, the freeze drying process prevents spread of bacteria if kept dry.

What is the protocol you use to keep raw organ meat snacks safe for pets?

Before freeze drying, all raw organ meats are cut to small pieces and kept at -10F for at least 20 days.  This has been shown to kill any potential parasites that may be present in the meat before processing. 

Snacks are then freeze dried and packaged with oxygen absorbers. This process inactivates any bacteria present as well as keeps the snacks tasting as fresh as possible. 

 

Do you use artificial flavorings or preservatives in your snacks?

Absolutely not!  Stedman's Snack Emporium snacks look, small and Tastes like real food because it is real food plain and simple.

We strive to provide the best customer experience possible, but occasionally things don't go quite right.  Here are some problems that sometimes happen and how to respond.

I never received my order

Despite our best efforts, shipping services can occasionally lose packages.  If it's been more than 15 business days since your order and you still haven't received it, please email customersupport@stedmanssnacks.com with your order number so we can help!

I changed my mind - how can I return my product?

Per our terms and conditions, you can return any part of your order withing 45 days for any reason as long as it's unopened and in the original packaging.  Just email customersupport@stedmanssnacks.com with the details to get full returns instructions. 

 

I received my order, but it was damaged.

Please email customersupport@stedmanssnacks.com with the order number and details and we will do our best to replace or refund the order.  We may request photos of the damage for shipping insurance purposes.

I made a mistake on my order - can I fix it?

If you realized after making completing an order that you need to cancel or change it, just email customersupport@stedmanssnacks.com with the order number and let us know.  If we haven't yet shipped the order we're happy to cancel your order and replace it with a corrected order. 

If it's already shipped, it will need to be returned per our terms and conditions.
